a new way to wipe out the world’s oldest disease
Malaria is the world’s oldest and deadliest disease. It has killed half the people who have ever lived. Even today it still kills half a million people every year including another child every two minutes. It is the daddy of all diseases. Malaria No More came to us along with a large consortium including the Gates Foundation, WHO, Unicef and more. They wanted us to give them their north star. A rallying cry they could all unite behind and start to convince the world’s leaders to take up the fight against the biggest plague the world has never known. So we created a whole new brand. We couldn’t afford to pussyfoot around. We couldn’t talk in the way other charities talk. We needed to raise ourselves above that and communicate the gravity of the situation. Thus Malaria Must Die was born. From brand design through to comms. In one month we created enough of a buzz to convince Commonwealth leaders to invest $4.1 Billion to halve Malaria by 2020. What you see here are the first steps on a long path to convince the whole world to join the fight. Watch this space.
