inspiring the greatest untapped resource we have

EDF is one of the ‘Big 6’ energy production companies in the UK. How could we separate them from the rest? Not by talking about deals. Or indeed energy production.  We then identified a natural resource that they should advertise. The greatest untapped natural resource we have – girls. If this country is to face an incredibly uncertain medium to long-term future then we have to arm ourselves with people who can solve problems in different ways. That means we need an equal split of male and female scientists to confront those problems. But society labels boys and girls differently. Girls are meant to play with dolls and be pretty aren’t they? Hence why only 1 in 7 students in Science Technology Maths and Engineering subjects in further education is female. Not anymore if EDF has anything to do with it. This ends now
